When
you first come to International House, you will be asked to do a test
to assess your level of English. The test is designed to assess the
following aspects of your English language ability:
communicative competence
range of language (grammatical structures
and vocabulary)
skills (reading, writing, listening and
speaking)
fluency
accuracy
pronunciation
It is obviously difficult to do a test like this
on the Internet! However, if you want to have an approximate idea
of your level, click on the button below and do the IH Quick Level
Test. This primarily assesses your range of language.
When you have finished the test, come back
to this page and compare your score with the International House
Levels Chart.
